Johannes Mallow was the first memory athlete to reach the magical 10,000 points in a World Memory Sports Council decathlon, at the Swedish Open Memory Championship 2013. Breaking one world record after another, Johannes set new standards in many established memory disciplines like Speed Numbers, Historical Dates, and Abstract Images among others. He was ranked #1 between 2012-2016. He appeared many times in TV Shows like the "Superbrain" in Germany and China. Johannes suffers from facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, a degenerative muscle disease, which forced him into a wheelchair in 2011.
