Happy anniversary Memory-Sports
FIFTY articles ago, this website started with ambitious plans. It was an exhausting journey with many ups and downs. I cannot believe that we already scratched this mark. But hey – time flies by and we all are seven months older since then. I don’t want to go to much into detail because I spend most of my spare time working on this little baby and there is not so much left of this precious resource. Even if you don’t see a new article, I am like a busy bee improving your memory-sports experience. Tomorrow I will get a new neat little feature for the presentation of the heavy content after each memory competition. Check out my last review if you don’t know what I am talking about. But enough with the spoilers.
The fastest man on the planet
Let us celebrate this beautiful number with nothing less than the coolest world record on earth. No fools, I don’t speak about Usain Bolt‘s 9.58 seconds for his 100m sprint. I speak about Ben Pridmore and the greatest sport mankind ever invented. And what is the coolest discipline in this leading sport? Of course – Speed Cards! Get your blueberries and your purple grape juice and lean back watching the fastest brain on earth braking the magical 25 seconds barrier (after he already broke first the magical 30 seconds). And to quote the famous German editor Christian Gürnth from the gaming magazine PC Action:
Two words: awe-some!

Cool stuff. Do you know of any online sites where one might be able to practice memorizing a deck of cards?
Thanks,
Rob

Oh yeah: Within the next two weeks memocamp.com will offer a fantastic programm to train cards. You can already train most of the other disciplines.
