- 1:11 PM Florian Dellé - We are preparing now for the Spoken Numbers!
- 1:20 PM Florian Dellé - How else could it be? It started with an error, speaking the numbers with a distance of three seconds. We started again and heard the same numbers again with the correct speed. It has been (only) two digits but still annoying. Very typicall for this discipline!

- 3:02 PM Florian Dellé - But I got Ameel’s 79 seconds on tape.
- 3:03 PM Florian Dellé - Idris was doing bad, too. So my position might not be in danger. I think I will go now for a super safety time just to break the 3000 points.

- 7:37 PM Florian Dellé - But we have a nice and familiar situation down here, with epic background music.
- 7:39 PM Florian Dellé - Phil, Chris, Dominic and Tony are preparing the last steps for the ceremony.
- 7:40 PM Florian Dellé - It really is a shame that only a handfull competitors are left. I feel quite comfortable.

It really was exiting. And my whole organization with all my technical gadgets worked much better than two weeks ago at the German Memo Open. And yes, breaking the 3000 barrier is a big deal for me. I am extremly happy.

thanks for the life update. Something bothers me, is there any monetary award for champions?
Flauwy
17. Aug, 2009
Yes there is. I am not certain about the details because Ben left before the ceremony. Therefore I don’t know the first prize money award. Ameel Hoque got 120 Pound for the second place. And I will receive a prize for Best International, too but since I’ll get it in Euro it will be sended to me later. I don’t know how much it is.
